New: Duality Palm Pillars

This is one of my sets of black and white duality pillars. They are each 2" wide, 9" tall and made with palm wax.

New: 6" Spring Wreath

This is a small wreath perfect for an altar or just to welcome some Spring into your home. The base is a woven grape vine circle which I embellished with faux leaves and flowers as well as little fuzzy chicks. The star in the center as well as that which wraps the circle is made with pastel colored chain crocheted yarn.

New: Searching

I have been doing a lot of soul searching lately. I am actually taking a bit of a hiatus from selling art so I can get my thoughts and goals sorted out. I took this picture the other day while I was rereading some of the entries in my meditation journal.

These unique 8-inch candles are hand dipped with about 80 layers of wax and have a standard 3/4" thick base. Each candle is in fact two tapers which are twisted together. They create a taller then usual and lovely flame.

These 8-inch spiraling tapers are hand dipped with about 80 layers of wax and hand twisted to form their unique design and have a standard 3/4" thick base. They are made from high quality wax and have 100% cotton wicks which curl to reduce carbon buildup.

New: Purple and White Lover Candles

These candles were a fluke. I was experimenting with making a black and white double tapers and ended up with a very deep purple instead (black with a purple sheen). I also had to chip off one layer of wax which has given them a distinctive look. I know I will never be able to recreate this colour so I am selling the pair at a discounted rate.

New: Green Lover Candles

These unique 7-inch double twisted tapers are hand dipped with as many as 40 layers of wax. Each candle has two cotton wicks that and curl as they burn (which reduces carbon buildup.) These minty green candles could also be ideal for an Imbolc, Spring Equinox or Bealtainne celebration.

I wonder what the spiders think when they see the webs we weave? Are they impressed by our ingenuity or do they scoff at our clumsy efforts to emulate their world?

New: In the fog

Michael and I were at his parents for Christmas. The 25th dawned foggy and who could resist but to go out and wander around in it's mystery.

New: Snowflake Altar Cloth

I completed this altar cloth for my husband and my Yule altar this year. I just finished it in time! It started as a large piece of red cotton that I hemmed to make a 3x3foot square cloth. I then cross stitched the white snowflakes on it.

Commissioned by M. Huston and her husband for one of their friends who is going through some hard times. He is a fisherman so this is a little nautical inspired one.

New: Icy

I am really happy with how this photograph turned out, it was inspired by the first snow which fell here recently. It made me to pick up my camera for the first time in awhile and try to create something inspired by that magical event, Today there is only rain, a special blessing of its own, but the smell of freshness the snow brought still lingers.

Yule is just around the corner.

New: Small Pearl Dreamcatcher

This small dreamcatcher measures just 2 inches across and is 8 inches long. A black pearl hangs in the center of the web and a quail feather dangles from the circle.

Winter has come!

November 1st, the start of the winter for those on my path, I hope you all had a blessed Samhain. Can you believe how fast this year has gone? Either way it is time for the winter theme to go up in celebration of this chilly season. We hope you like it!

New: Nautical Pentacle

The nautical stars were originally used by sailors to help guide their way as they sailed through the night. They relied upon the stars to protect them and bring them home safely. It is a symbol strongly connected with the ocean as well as a symbol of guidances and protection...

Update: 6" Winter Wreath

The winter wreath has been up for awhile but it has changed slightly and now includes a small cardinal nestled in the foliage. The wreath has bells hidden (and not so hidden) through out so that the whole thing jingles with the slightest touch.

New: Yemaya

This is one of my first serious colour pencil pieces. I know that it has flaws but I am still very proud of how it turned out. I have a feeling I shall revisit Yemaya in the future though. She is the Yoruban Goddess fo Living Water...

Ready for beta testing

The site is almost ready for the official launch -- we just need to work out any kinks.
